We were told that we were crazy making the 1,298 mile move from Maryland to Oklahoma. People shook their heads and asked us why…….Oklahoma?

Are You Ready to FLEE your State?

With high cost of living, high taxes, horrible traffic, and heavy handed lockdown policies , we were ready to say GOOD BYE to our home state and take a chance on a state that is in the middle of the country.

We discovered that Oklahoma is not the windswept tumbleweed covered, cowboy inhabited, outlaw state that some imagine. Although Oklahoma’s legendary outlaws Bonnie & Clyde spent the night at a cobblestone cottage in the town of medicine park, located in southwest Oklahoma, while they were on the run. Belle Star and Jessie James used a State Park in Oklahoma as a hideout, although there is much controversy about which one.
